PESHAWAR, June 14: Speakers at a seminar titled “Road to success” have urged the students to follow the basic teachings and principles of the Holy Quran and Sunnah to become useful and successful citizens of the country.

The seminar was organized by Institute of Computer and Management Sciences (ICMS) at its Hayatabad campus on Friday.

The guest speaker, Faiz Sayal, in his speech asked the student community to follow in the footprints of the Holy Prophet to become useful citizens. There was a dire need for the student community to get acquainted with the Islamic values and teachings.

Mr Sayal was of the view that time had come for the students to give up following alien culture and adopt their own in order to restore their lost glory among the comity of nations. He emphasized that there were three main institutions, required for a person to groom in better and conducive atmosphere, ie., mother, mosque and teacher.—AY
