PESHAWAR, June 13: A poster competition to highlight the menace of drug abuse was held at the Khyber Medical College here on Thursday.

The contest was organized by the Social Welfare Society of the Khyber Medical College — the youth wing of Pakistan Red Crescent — in collaboration with the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF).

Syed Imtiaz Gilani, Provincial Minister for Education, Information, Sports and Culture, was the chief guest on the occasion.

Students of more than 40 schools, colleges and various departments of the University of Peshawar participated in the event. More than 200 posters were on display depicting miseries brought about by the drug addiction.
