19 injured in accident

SANGHAR, June 10: At least 19 people were injured, nine seriously, when a Hyderabad-bound van collided head-on with a bus coming from the opposite direction on the Tando Adam-Hyderabad road on Monday.

The driver of the van tried to pass a stationary pickup as a result of which it collided head-on with a bus (JA-9317) coming from the opposite direction .

The names of those who have been injured are Afzal, Ghulam Qadir, Fateh Mohammed, Mohammed Iqbal, Shahbaz, Maula Bux, Ms Sanam, Ms Farah Shaheen, Mohammed Ishaque, Kashif, Aftab Bijoro, Mohammed Aziz, Anees, Mohammed Iqbal, Abdul Rasheed, Abdul Hafeez, Ms Nazeeran, Sarfaraz, and Mohammed Ismail.

The first ten were taken to the Tando Adam, while the remaining, who were injured seriously, were taken to Hyderabad.
