HYDERABAD, June 10: The City Nazim of Hyderabad, Haji Moin Shaikh, has taken a serious notice of public complaints about the non-availability of newspapers in various libraries of the city.

He has directed the town officer regulation and the information officer to look into the matter and submit a report within one week.

Earlier, a group of people, including students, met the City Nazim and complained that no newspapers were available in some libraries of the city,

They pointed out that they were also the members of the municipal libraries which were rendering useful services to the people but the same had been stopped abruptly.

Mr Shaikh said that it was the duty of the tehsil administration to ensure continuation of sports, recreational and reading facilities to the citizens especially the students and assured them that he would take personal interest in solving the problem.
