KARACHI, Oct 30: Sadia Yaseen, Naureen Tehseen, Sonia Qaisar and Shahida Yousuf reached the women’s singles semifinals of the All-Karachi Lions Open table tennis tournament at the at the Sindh Sports Board Complex Monday.

In the quarterfinals, Sadia Yaseen beat Ghalia Khursheed 21-12, 21-9, 21-14, Naureen Tehseen beat Sobia Ahzaz 21-11, 21-12, 21-17, Sonia Qaisar beat Nazia Khan 21-7, 21-16, 21-13 and Samina Shamim beat Shahida Yousuf 21-15, 21-13, 21-19.

In the boys singles quarterfinals, Faraz Ahsan beat Zeeshan Merchant 22-20, 21-17, Zaheeruddin Amin beat Sofi Azam 21-18, 21-19, Asad Omer beat Mansoor Ali 21-19, 15-21, 23-21 and Ahmer Ali beat Ayaz Ahmed 21-19, 21-13.—APP
