LAHORE: Pakistan Movement medals

LAHORE, Oct 30: The Tehrik-i-Pakistan Workers’ Trust will present its gold medals to 27 Pakistan Movement workers at a ceremony being held here on Thursday.

The trust has been awarding gold medals to the Pakistan Movement workers for the past 14 years in recognition of their services. The medals will be presented at the Aiwan-i-Karkunan-i-Tehrik-i-Pakistan.

Those selected for the medals this year are: Muhammad Amir Shah Qadri Gilani, the late Alhaj Ghulam Ghaus Sehrai, the late Taj Ali Khan, the late Muhammad Amin Jan Khan and the late Mian Muhammad Iqbal of Peshawar, the late Muhammad Zafar Ali Khan of Bannu, the late Habib Ibrahim Rahmatullah, the late Ayub Khoru, the late Haji Ghulam Rasool Khan Jatoi, the late Altaf Husain of Karachi, the late Nawab Muhammad Hayat Qureshi, the late Chaudhry Niaz Ali Khan, the late Muhammad Ismail Ghaznavi, Nawaz Hashmi, Chaudhry Abdur Rashid, Agha Farasat Ali, Khwaja Ziauddin, the late Muhammad Zahooruddin, Agha Naseer Ahmad, Group Captain Usman Beg (retired), Mustafa Kamal Pasha and Muhammad Azim Khan Saddozai of Lahore, Abdur Rashid Tarin of Multan, Brig Abdur Rafiq Khan Burki of Rawalpindi, the late Begum Sarwar Siddiqua and Hakim Sultan Ahmad Dawoodi of Faisalabad.
