KARACHI, March 12 Top seed Zuhair Raza added another feather in his cap when he picked up the juniors` U-17 singles crown in the second Sindh ranking tennis tournament at the DHA Sunset Club on Wednesday.

A better-skilled player, he chalked up an authoritative 6-1, 6-0 victory over second seed Mustafa Zaidi in the final to earn applause from the crowd.

Mustafa, who was seeded on top in the boys` U-15 singles, however, earned some consolation handing a 6-0, 7-5 defeat to the ailing second seed Nameer Shamsi.

The former was 1-0 up in the unfinished match the other day. When play resumed, he maintained his grip to seal his fate and register a straight win.

Upcoming Imran Mooraj and Talha Zubair shared one title apiece amongst themselves. While Imran accounted for Talha 8-4 to land the boys` U-13 crown, the latter turned tables on the former, imposing an 8-5 lead to win the boys` U-11 title.

Meanwhile Seher Khawaja, a former national hard court champion, brushed aside stiff challenge from Eman Malik to post a 7-6 (3), 1-6, 6-3 victory in a three-set battle.
