PESHAWAR, June 6: The 4th International Biennial Conference of Pakistan Society for Microbiology is being organized from June 24 to 28 in Peshawar.

According to a press release issued here on Thursday, apart from the impact of globalization, spread of infectious diseases due to drug-resistant strains, the deciphering of the human genome, health-care and issues relating to policy-makers would come under discussion during the five-day event.

Titled “Continuing Challenges in Microbiology”, the conference would help the scientists and researchers share their knowledge about different fields, including agriculture, environment and human health among each other and with the audience.

Experts from the country and abroad would make presentations on a variety of subjects.
