Govt eyes better economy

SARGODHA, May 4: The government is taking vital decisions to boost country’s economy, trade and politics.

This was stated by Punjab law minister Rana Ijaz Ahmad Khan while talking to participants in ‘meet the press’ programme organized by the local Press Club on Saturday.

He said voters’ verdict in President Musharraf’s favour bore testimony to his dynamic leadership and struggle to resurrect economy.

The government had given due freedom to the press, he said, adding lawyers in the country have always voiced their ideals through journalism.

The government was focusing on making revolutionary changes in the judiciary, Mr Khan said.
