KARACHI, April 26: A delegation of the Pakistan Tehreek-i- Insaf, led by its new president for Sindh, Mir Haider Ali Khan Talpur, called on governor Mohammedmian Soomro and formally informed him of the party’s decision about the referendum.

The delegation included several trade unionists, who drew the governor’s attention to the problems the workers and unions were facing at the hands of the labour bureaucracy. Mr Talpur spoke about the problems faced by the people of Sindh generally.

The governor assured them that he would look into their grievances sympathetically.
