MARDAN, April 22: A meeting of representatives of Afghan refugees was held here at the Baghicha Dari village and nominated 40 representatives from Mardan and Malakand divisions for the Loya Jirga, which will be held in Afghanistan in June.

According to a press release issued here on Sunday, Ghulam Rabbani Kohistani, said that more than 80 representatives were sent by the Afghan refugees living in Malakand and Mardan divisions, but the meeting unanimously nominated 40 representatives for the Loya Jirga.

It may be added that the commission for the Loya Jirga in Afghanistan has asked 20 representatives from each division of NWFP from the Afghan refugees, where only three representatives would be selected from the list of 20 people.
