‘Awareness’ drive

LAHORE, April 16: All state-owned colleges will be launching an ‘awareness campaign’ from Wednesday (today), apprising their students of the significance of casting vote in the April 30 referendum.

In a directive, the city district government (education department) has instructed the principals of all boys and girls colleges to arrange at least three to five seminars in a week.

The directive said senior political science teachers should deliver lectures at the seminars, highlighting the importance of exercising the right to franchise. — Reporter
