Woman thrown into well by husband

DADU, April 11: A woman, Peerani, 25, was thrown into a well by her husband Nawab Rind and his three accomplices after tiding her hands and legs with ropes and Dupatta over some domestic problem in Changani Rind village of Sehwan taluka on Thursday.

No one came to rescue her and she died in the well.

On receiving information Salman Rind, the father of the deceased woman along with other relatives, arrived on the spot and took out the body of the woman after hectic efforts of three hours.

The Jhanga police on the complaint of the father of the woman lodged an FIR under section 302 of the Qisas and Diyat Ordinance, 34 of the PPC against her husband and his three accomplices namely Moheem, Raza Mohammad and Sikandar.

CRUSHED: A passer-by Sono Khan, 22, son of Wahid Bux, was crushed to death under the wheels of Mehar-bound passenger coach (JE-8812) on the Indus Highway, some 5km away from here on Thursday.

THe Dadu town police have registered a case against driver.
