ISLAMABAD, March 31: Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf (PTI) has criticized the inclusion of FBI personnel in the teams that conducted raids in Faisalabad and Lahore in pursuit of suspected Al Qaeda activists.

In a statement issued here, a spokesman for the PTI said the people were perturbed over the growing involvement of US security personnel in state affairs.

It was unprecedented in Pakistan’s history, he said, that any government had allowed the FBI and other US agencies to directly operate inside Pakistan.
