Cases filed against Fazl, brother

DERA ISMAIL KHAN, Oct 16: The Cantonment police have registered a case against Maulana Fazlur Rehman, his brother Ataur Rehman and Maulana Abdul Qayyum under sections 153/153-A/124-A/505PPC, 16 and 19 MPO for instigating the people against government, rebellion, creating hatred against the rulers, provoking the masses against armed forces and law enforcement agencies, making people to disobey and create law and order situation.

The case was registered against the accused for their speeches delivered in Eidgah Kalan on Monday in Mufti Mehmood Conference. Allegedly, the Maulana and the other two speakers during their speeches, had accused the army for the fall of Dacca in 1970-71 during Yahya Khan’s government, disengagement of Siachin during Zia regime and predicted that Kashmir would also be set aside during the present government.

In their speeches, the masses were advised to gun down each and every American irrespective of his colour. Police and armed forces were advised to disobey the orders of the government.
