SHEIKHUPURA, Oct 14: Three members of a family were killed while 16 others sustained injuries in a pickup-wagon collision on motorway bridge here on Saturday.
Reports said a Hafizabad-bound wagon collided with a pickup loader coming from the opposition direction. As a result of which Yousaf, his wife and daughter Farzana of Multan Road, Lahore were killed on the spot while 16 other passengers, including Nazir Husain, Khadim Ata, Iqbal and Shamim Bibi sustained injuries. Some of the injured were shifted to Mayo Hospital, Lahore owing to their critical condition.
Sheikhupura Saddar police are investigating.
