KARACHI, Oct 14: The Board of Secondary Education, Karachi on Saturday notified the extension of the date of commencement of SSC supplementary examination 2006 Science and General Groups (Regular and Private) from Oct 27 to 31, in view of the Eidul Fitr.

The board has also rescheduled the examination process. Now the admit cards could be ready for collection from Oct 17 onwards.

All the heads of recognised secondary schools have been asked to send their representatives with authority letters to collect the admit cards on the dates mentioned from the concerned section (Room No 5 for General Group and Room No 10 and 11 for Science Group), 1st floor, Block-A of the board from 9am to 1pm.

Further, a meeting of all the examination center superintendents will be held on October 19 at 10am at the board office.

The board announced that the practical examinations will be held from November 16 and the detailed programme would be mailed to candidates on their given home addresses.—PPI
