LAHORE, May 1: Kazakhstan volleyball team will tour Pakistan to play a five-Test series against the hosts in five different cities from May 9 to 17. Pakistan Volleyball Federation (PVF) president Chaudhary Mohammad Yaqoob, told reporters on Sunday that the first Test would be played at Liaquat Gymnasium, Islamabad on May 10.

The second tie is scheduled to be held at Wah Cantt on May 11 while the third at Peshawar on May 13. The fourth match will be held at the Wapda Sports Complex on May 15 and the fifth at Karachi on May 17.

The president said that after the series Pakistan would also host Asian Club championships at Islamabad from June 1 to 8.

China, Iran, India, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, Taiwan and Pakistan would compete in the competition, he said.

He said that both the international events would help Pakistani players to prepare themselves for the Asian Championships to be held in Thailand in September this year.
