PESHAWAR, April 30: The Standing Committee of the NWFP Assembly on Works and Services department has advised the chief minister to approve a summary about an increase in tender rates in accordance with the percentage of hike in prices of construction material.

A meeting of the committee was held at conference room of the NWFP Assembly, presided over by MPA Qalander Lodhi and attended by MPAs Hamid Shah and Mohammad Tariq Khattak.

The chief engineer of the Works and Services Department told the participants contractors were being awarded tenders in accordance with the rates decided in 1999.—-APP
