FC man dies in landmine blast

QUETTA, April 27: A Frontier Corps man was killed in a landmine explosion in Kahan area on Wednesday. According to sources, a small contingent of FC men carrying ration on mules for posts was on its way to Kahan when a soldier stepped on a landmine, which went off. The victim, Javed Ahmed, died on the spot.

The sources said the explosion was caused by an anti-tank mine.
