KARACHI, April 26: Despite a fine century by Nadeem Shaikh, AOCC suffered a four-wicket defeat against United CC in the KCCA Centenary Inter-club cricket tournament on Monday. Nadeem blasted seven fours and as many as eight sixes in his 112 but AOCC only succeeded in reaching 187 for one at Navy ground.

Mohammad Waheed hit nine boundaries in his 61 and Munir Ahmed cracked 53 with four fours to steer United CC home.

Wahajuddin made a solid 107 with nine fours and leg-spinner Abidullah captured five for 41 in Young Cooperators CC’s 116-run win over National Sports at Mansoora ground.

At Airport Stadium, Karachi Eaglets CC defeated Falcon Sports by three wickets while at New United ground, Shaheen Gymkhana whipped Abu Rehan CC by seven wickets. Mohammad Abrar slammed a match-winning unbeaten 65 with eight hits to the fence.
