MEDICAL CAMP: The Society for the Protection of Children’s Right arranged a medical camp in Hamal village of Taluka Warrah on Tuesday where medicines were distributed among people suffering from abdominal diseases after consuming contaminated water of Hamal Lake.

Dr Khalid Shah and Dr Hafeez Depar examined patients at the camp. On the occasion, 35 cases of gastroenteritis were detected out of which 20 were children. The doctors, however, said that since none of the cases was serious, the state of emergency had ended.

A large number of women and children suffering from fever and lung infection were also diagnosed and given medicines.

Mukhtiar Samo, coordinator of the CRC Larkana, said the society was struggling for the protection of children rights and trying to provide relief to the ailing humanity.
