Four injured in clash over land

DADU, Nov 4: Four peasants were injured in an armed clash between two groups of peasants over a dispute over land in Dost Muhammad village in Khairpur Nathan Shah Taluka on Sunday morning.

The peasants who were injured in the armed clash were Haji Sahib, Hussain Bux, Ghulam Mustafa, and Ghulam Shabbir Mugheri. All were admitted at the taluka hospital Khairpur Nathan Shah.

The Khairpur Nathan Shah police registered an FIR against six peasants.

ONE KILLED: A donkey cart driver, Ali Nawaz (30), was killed on the spot and his relative, A. Rakhio, was seriously injured when a car hit their cart at the Jamshoro toll plaza on Sunday. Mr Rakhio was admitted at the LMU hospital, Jamshoro.

Police have arrested three people.
