LAHORE, Nov 4: JUI-F amir Maulana Fazlur Rehman has alleged that the US, Israel and India are blackmailing the world, and time has come that efforts should be made to bring it to an end.

In a press statement here on Sunday, the Maulana said the US and Israel were killing people in Afghanistan and Palestine while India was carrying on massacre of Muslims in held Kashmir.

The JUI leader said his party was at war with terrorists and would continue the same till the eradication of the menace.

He said his party would not beg for suspension of war between the US and Afghanistan during Ramazan.

SHUJAAT: PML-QA leader Chaudhry Shujaat Husain has proposed that Islamic countries should launch a diplomatic initiative to resolve the crisis caused by the US-Afghanistan war.

In a press statement, he apprehended that if the prevailing situation was allowed to persist, a war of civilizations could start leading to death and destruction across the world.

The former interior minister said a group of Islamic countries should be set up under the leadership of Saudi Arabia to find a solution to the problem. Iran, he emphasized, must be included in it.

The Pakistan government, he said, should also play its role in bringing an end to the agony the Afghan people were experiencing.

AKRAM AWAN: Tanzeem Al Ikhwan chief Maulana Muhammad Akram Awan has advised Afghan leader Mullah Muhammad Omar to appoint his representatives in all countries to administer all people the oath of allegiance to his leadership.

Such a “ba’it” is the key to the salvation of the Muslims, the Maulana said in a press statement.
