HYDERABAD: Man killed by guard

HYDERABAD, March 5: A man was gunned down by the guard of his brother's factory following exchange of hot words in the SITE area here on Friday.

Madad Ali, the brother of deceased Mohammad Akram, son of Nawaz Watto, has lodged a murder case against the guard, Atta Mohammad Baloch. Police have arrested the guard and recovered the weapon used in the offence. The deceased hailed from Pak Pattan in Punjab.

Meanwhile, a woman, Shamim Khatoon, wife of Irshad Ahmed, succumbed to burn injuries in the local Civil Hospital's burns ward. She had received burn wounds in her house reportedly after her clothes caught fire in kitchen.

MOTORCYLISTS KILLED: Two motorcyclists, Ayaz Ahmed Solangi and his unidentified friend, were crushed under the wheels of a speedy vehicle on the Super Highway near Nooriabad.
