GUJRAT, Feb 10: District Nazim Chaudhry Shafaat Husain has urged the women associated with the nursing department to perform their duties honestly, dedicatedly and for the betterment of the masses.

He said this while inaugurating the new administration block of the General Nursing School constructed at a cost of Rs0.5 million. EDO Health Dr Talat Iqbal, DHO Dr Inamul Haq, DHQ MS Dr Abbas Gondal, school principal Safia Liaqat and an NGO head Mian Ejaz were also present on the occasion.

Mr Husain urged the students not to make their profession only a source of income, but focus on serving humanity. He gave a commuter wagon for the school office from his own pocket and announced that two buses and a computer would be given to the school soon.

The Nazim also gave away certificates among the successful students. The school principal informed the Nazim that the third year result remained 100% as all the students obtained the first division. The EDO Heath also spoke on the occasion. Meanwhile the NGO head Mian Ejaz announced to provide the furniture for the school.

INDIAN DELEGATES: On the invitation of MNA Chaudhry Wajahat Husain and the District Nazim Chaudhry Shafaat Husain, two members Ajay Chautala and Abhay Chautala of the Indian Lok Sabha (Parliament) will visit the district on Friday (today).

The MNA and the Nazim have hosted a function in the honour of their Indian guests at the Zila Council Hall where several MNAs, MPAs, Nazims, Naib Nazims and councilors would also appear.
