JACOBABAD, Nov 18: The Federal Minister for Local Bodies, Justice (rtd) Abdul Razzaq Thaheem, has said that the Sindh chief minister will soon announce the bifurcation of the district.

Talking to newsmen at the press club here on Thursday, he said that circumstances warranted that President Gen Musharraf should continue to wear army uniform because of war on extremism in the country demanded it.

The minister said the country was progressing under the doctrine of enlightened moderation. He said all issues would be resolved during the Musharraf government. He said the opposition's agitation would prove futile as the assemblies would complete constitutional tenure.
