BAGHDAD, Nov 13: Iraq's interim government extended on Saturday the closure of Baghdad international airport indefinitely under emergency rule imposed before this week's offensive on Falluja.

"It is closed until further notice," an official in Prime Minister Iyad Allawi's office said when asked about the airport.

Mr Allawi announced a two-day closure of Baghdad airport hours before the start of the assault on Monday. The government later extended the closure-Reuters
