SHIKARPUR, Nov 11: Three persons were killed and 13 others were injured in an accident on the Shikarpur-Garhi Yasin road near the Karan Sharif village on Thursday evening.

Ghulam Qadir Jatoi, 40, his son, Sohino, 8, and Rahim Bux Jatoi, 36, were killed when their motorcycle was hit by a wagon.

The injured wagon passengers, including Mukhtiar Kakepoto, Shahid Arain, Allah Dino, Wazir Ali, Khadim Hussain Mirani, Manzoor Kakepoto, Ghulam Abbas Junejo, Abdul Waheed and Ayaz Ahmad Abro, were admitted to the Shikarpur Civil Hospital.

The bodies were handed over to their relatives after post-mortem in the civil hospital.

The Karan police registered a case.

ARRESTED: Police claimed that two 'notorious' outlaws were arrested from a forest area, near here, the other day, from whose possession, a double barrel gun and ammunition were recovered.

A party of the Garhi Yasin police raided a forest area between Hamzo Khan and Jasio Kalhoro villages, and following a brief encounter, arrested two 'notorious' outlaws and recovered a double barrel gun and a large amount of ammunition.
