Cll condemns Bahawalpur massacre

ISLAMABAD, Oct 29: Council of Islamic Ideology (CII) on Monday strongly condemned the killing of 16 worshippers at a church in Bahawalpur on Sunday.

In a statement here CII Chairman Dr S.M. Zaman said the wanton killing of 16 Christian compatriots in a church at the hands of terrorists should be condemned in the strongest possible terms by all.

He said the crime was aimed at creating dissension and conflict among the Muslim and Christian communities.—APP
