Military deaths in Iraq

LONDON, Nov 9: Two US soldiers were killed when guerillas fired mortar bombs at their base in Mosul on Tuesday, the US military said in a statement.

On Monday a soldier from Britain's Black Watch battle group was killed in a roadside bomb explosion in an incident north of Camp Dogwood, the ministry of defence said late on Monday.

Here are the latest figures for military deaths in Iraq, in line with the most recent death toll from the Pentagon.

Figures in brackets refer to deaths since May 1, 2003, when US President George W. Bush declared major combat over.
