LONDON, Nov 9: Two US soldiers were killed when guerillas fired mortar bombs at their base in Mosul on Tuesday, the US military said in a statement.

On Monday a soldier from Britain's Black Watch battle group was killed in a roadside bomb explosion in an incident north of Camp Dogwood, the ministry of defence said late on Monday.
