KARACHI, Nov 7: Sindh Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui has said that the government was committed to eliminate crimes from the province and all the drug dens would be exterminated soon.

He was distributing the relief goods and cash among the fire affectees at Rab Khaskheli Village, Gharo, on Sunday. The village had turned into ashes and many inhabitants were wounded when a fire erupted in the village a few days ago.

Following the incident, Home Minister Rauf Siddiqui had reached the site and distributed relief goods and cash among the affectees. He consoled the villagers and said that his party and Sindh government would not leave them helpless in such odd times.

During his visit on Sunday, the villagers complained him about the increasing narcotics sale in the surrounding areas. Mr Siddiqui said that police force had been given a special task in this regard. He said that providing rural areas with facilities like urban areas was the priority of government.-PPI
