Aziz to visit India on Nov 22

NEW DELHI, Oct 25: Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz is coming here on Nov 22 in his capacity as the outgoing chairman of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), The Hindu reported on Monday.

Mr Aziz will also visit the other five South Asian capitals as Pakistan hands over the SAARC chair to Bangladesh in January 2005.

Mr Aziz will discuss bilateral relations with Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh during his stay in New Delhi.

The meeting comes as a follow-up to the discussions held on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly between Dr Singh and Gen Musharraf.-J.N.
