ISLAMABAD, Oct 20: The Ambassadors of Argentine and Brazil separately called on Minister for Water and Power Liaquat Ali Jatoi here on Wednesday and discussed with him matters of economic cooperation and joint venture projects in energy and water sectors.

The Ambassador of Argentina, Rodolfo J. Martin, expressed the interest to extend their cooperation in energy and water sector projects. He informed the minister that his country has developed expertise in water, energy and chemical sectors and important producer of energy and keen to invest in these sectors in Pakistan. He also underlined the need to more economic cooperation in various other fields.

The Ambassadors of Brazil, Fausto M. Godoy, showed the interest to invest in water and energy sectors and particularly in the construction of dams. He offered to participate in the bidding of various water and dam projects in Pakistan. He also briefed the minister about the economic development of their country.-APP
