LAHORE, Oct 19: The Punjab government has issued a list of 110 'most-wanted terrorists' and directed the law-enforcement agencies to step up efforts to arrest them.

Over half of them carry head money of Rs24 million. The head money ranges between Rs0.1 and Rs2 million. However, the whereabouts of most of such terrorists has not been mentioned in the list.

Most of the terrorists who have no bounty on their head belong to Lahore, Gujrat, Jhang, Bahawalpur, Attock and Sheikhupura.

It is learnt that a few of them mentioned in the list have been spotted in the public, but the law-enforcement agencies did not arrest them. However, a senior police officer claimed that it could be the same name problem.

The terrorists with bounty include Zakiullah (Rs2 million), Qari Abdul Hai, Shahabuddin, Aziz Husain, Rashid and Ali Rizwan (Rs1 million each) and Muhammad Saeed (Rs600,000).

The bounty of Rs500,000 each on Ehsanullah Shah, Anayatullah Shah, Nasrullah, Abdul Majid, Muhammad Saleem, Malik Muhammad Safdar, Hafiz Muhammad Yasin, Muhammad Qasim, Muhammad Safdar, Abdul Rehman, Muhammad Tayyab, Baqir Mosvi, Dr Qaisar Raza, Tanveer Husain, Syed Zulqernain Haider, Agha Haider, Asad Ali Bokhari, Tahir Abbas and Sarfrazul Hassan has been announced. Three others Irshadullah Butt, Muhammad Aslam and Hafiz Muhammad Saghir belong to Gujrat and Shahzad to Sargodha.

Those who carry Rs300,000 bounty each are Muhammad Hashim, Muhammad Abid, Zubair Abbas, Anwar Haider and Qari Muhammad Ramazan (Dera Ghazi Khan). Abdul Waheed, Muhammad Asif, Saeed Anwar, Zahid Husain, Mumtaz, Asad Abbas and Ali Sher (Muzaffargarh) have Rs200,000 each bounty and Rizwan Ali, Imran Zaidi, Khawar Abbas, Mureed Abbas and Shabbir Husain Rs100,000 each.

The terrorists who have no head money from Lahore are Mohsin, Khalil Ahmad, Nadeem, Fawad Shah, Sharafat Ali Shah, Zulqernain Raza Naqvi, Zubair Abbas, Ali Shah, Ejaz Naqvi, Shah Nawaz, Farooq Ahmad, Shabbir Husain, Farooq Ahmed, Akbar Husain Naqvi, Imran Abbas Alvi, Mujahid Ali Shah and Ghulam Murtaza. Qari Gul Muhammad, Qari Nazakat Mubarak Husain Shah and Jamshed belong to Attock.

Jalil Saqlain, Intizar Ali Imran and Ali Ibrar of Vehari, Qari Mohsin, Intizar Malhi, Abid Shah and Sheraz of Sheikhupura, Abu Bakr, Mushtaq, Agha Khan Pathan, Farrukh Fari of Jhang, Muhammad Saleem, Jehanzeb, Farhan of Faisalabad, Qari Muhammad Ahmad Ludhianvi of Toba Tek Singh, Gohar Iqbal and Kashif of Bahawalnagar are among others.

They also include Muhammad Ilays and Naveed of Gujranwala, Muhammad Imran and Khadim Husain of Sahiwal, Qari Abdul Qayyum of Khanewal, Nazir Ahmad, Mahmood Ahmad and Muhammad Aslam of Bahawalpur, Kaleemul Haider of Gujrat, Saifur Rehman of Abbottabad, Sajjad of Chakwal and Haider Ali of Sargodha.

Those who carry no head money and their whereabouts has not been mentioned are Hafiz Suleman, Sabir Husain, Usman Haider, Amjad Husain, Hafiz Muhammad Shahbaz and Abdul Wahab.
