PESHAWAR, Oct 18: The Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) has arrested three persons from Nowshera Kalan on the charge of selling fake pesticide, said an official statement issued here on Monday.

According to the release, an FIA crime circle team had raided Nowshera Kalan on a tip-off and arrested Nazir Ahmad, Ayaz Ali and Zahid-ul-Haq.

The team first raided the house of Nazir Ahmad, arrested him and seized fake pesticides, bogus stickers and packing materials.

Later, the house of Zahid-ul-Haq on Tehsil Road in Nowshera Kalan was raided from where Zahid and his accomplice Ayaz Ali were arrested. The team also seized a huge quantity of bogus pesticides and packing material from there.

According to the press release, the three accused have also disclosed names of their other accomplices during interrogation.
