LAHORE, Oct 18: The Higher Education Commission has completed the inspection of infrastructure and educational facilities of the private sector chartered universities and institutes in the Punjab.

In this connection, Governor Khalid Maqbool on Monday held a meeting with the heads and management of three private universities and reviewed the availability of required faculty, facilities of research, libraries and internet on the basis of standards notified by the HEC.

The private universities' management told the governor about the replacement of faculty with qualified teachers having PhD degrees.

The governor lauded the universities' management for completing the requirements as asked by the HEC. He also assured them the government's full cooperation for the promotion of higher education through public-private partnership.
