A large number of poets, writers, social workers and political activists from different parts of Sindh attended the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, the president of the Awami Tehrik, Mr Rasool Bux Palijo, said that research should be conducted on the poetry of Ustad Bukhari.

He said that the Sindhi people would continue their struggle against the Kalabagh dam and Greater Thal canal projects and would not accept wrong policies of the rulers.
