LAHORE, Oct 2: Chief Minister Pervaiz Elahi directed the administration here on Saturday to utilize all means to unearth elements involved in the Sialkot incident.

He announced a Rs10 million reward for giving information about the criminals, assuring that the names of the informers would be kept secret.

He gave the orders while presiding over a meeting, directing the IGP to engage the best and expert police officers for probing the incident which claimed the lives of innocent persons and injured several others.

The chief minister said the case should be investigated on lines which were used to successfully track down the culprits of earlier sectarian terrorism in the province.

He maintained that the elements involved in the Sialkot bomb blast were the enemy of Pakistan and Islam and they would have to be severely punished.

Appreciating harmony and unity displayed by the people of Sialkot after the incident, he said the people of Pakistan were united to thwart the nefarious designs of the terrorists.
