LANDI KOTAL, July 24: The political authorities in Bara Khyber Agency in collaboration with Bara peace committee recovered Dr Mubarak Shah on Friday.
Dr Shah was kidnapped from his clinic in Akakhel area some two weeks ago.
The authorities and activists of peace committee recovered the abducted doctor from a room near Argali dry stream in Shalobar area. One of his captors said another man Wali was also arrested.
He was later shifted to a private jail, run by an activist of the peace committee near Shalobar Chowk, in Bara Bazar.
KILLED: A young activist of Bara peace committee, Khan Mohammad, was killed when hit by a bullet, accidentally fired by his friend, Mehmood Khan.
Khan Mohammad was accompanying his colleagues as part of the raiding party arranged by the peace committee to recover the missing doctor.
