KOHAT, July 22: A man was crushed to death by an speeding bus on the old Indus Highway near Tappi early Wednesday morning. Saeed Khan, who was carrying breakfast from a hotel at 4:45am, was knocked down and killed by the speeding bus while he was trying to cross the road. The bus driver escaped.
PRISONER ARRESTED: The police on Wednesday arrested a prisoner who had escaped from the KDA medical complex where he was under treatment under police custody.
Akbar Badshah was under treatment at the medical complex for a bullet injury he had received during an encounter with the police. He was wanted by the police for a murder case.
Badshah was arrested on the Kacha Pakha road while trying to cross into the tribal territory.
