LAHORE, May 8: A number of residents of 'Green Cap Housing Society' and other adjoining localities close to Ferozepur Road have urged the SNGPL management to ensure timely delivery of bills.

In a joint statement, they said that most people of the area had not been getting their bills on time for the last few months. They said that they received their bills for February quite late, and had not yet received the bills for March so far.

They said that last winter, when the gas turned into liquid form due to low pressure and leaked from pipes, the department had sent them inflated bills as they were charged for the gas lost due to leakage.

Demanding immediate delivery of bills for the month of March, the complainants said those should not include surcharge for delayed payment as bills were not provided to them on time.-APP
