LARKANA, March 13: Spea-kers at a seminar on "Save Moenjodaro" have called for urgent measures to surmount the situation created at the Moen-jodaro site by fast capillary action.

The Earth Lovers' Society organized the seminar here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion, Democratic Lawyers' Forum president Amanullah Shaikh, Trust for Voluntary Organization regional officer Sikandar Hulio, Zulfikar Rajpar and others expressed concern over the collapse of structures of Moenjodaro.

They held the department of archaeology responsible for the situation, saying the site curator had sent reports about decaying of the Moenjodaro structures to the department but it had taken no steps to repair the structures though it had funds.

A committee named "Save Indus Civilization" with Mr Shaikh as its head was also formed on the occasion.
