RAHIM YAR KHAN, March 6: The two-day annual flower exhibition at the Khawaja Fareed Government College lawn concluded here on Saturday.

Organized by District Coordination Officer Javed Akhtar and the KFGC administration, the exhibition covered more than 100 varieties of flowers and plants.

The exhibition is being organized every year since 1990, and this year it was part of the institute's golden jubilee celebrations.

As many as 21 institutions, companies and the general public visited the exhibition in which students of various institutes competed.

A rare Japanese miniature plant, Bonsai, was also placed in the exhibition by a college student.

Later, District Nazim Syed Ahmad Mahmood distributed the prizes among the winners.

Among the institutional contests, the KFGC won the first prize, Government Girls College second and the district revenue department bagged third prize.
