By-poll for NA-190 on April 12

ISLAMABAD, Feb 21: Chief Election Commissioner Irshad Hasan Khan on Saturday announced by-election in NA-190, Bahawalnagar-III, on April 12 to fill the National Assembly seat that became vacant due to the death of Labour and Overseas Pakistanis Minister Abdul Sattar Khan Laleka.

According to the election scheduled, March 9 and 10 will be the dates for filing nomination papers and the scrutiny of the papers will be done on March 12.

March 15 is the last date for filing appeals against the rejection or acceptance of nomination papers, which will be decided by March 18. Nomination papers can by withdrawn till March 22 and the revised list will be published on March 24.
