MULTAN, Feb 21: Foundation stone of Multan dryport was laid at a ceremony near Sher Shah bypass on Saturday. Mahmood Group of Industries chairman Khwaja Masood laid the foundation stone. Customs officials, local industrialists, bankers, All-Pakistan Bed Sheets and Upholstery Manufacturers Association (APBUMA) chairman Mian Fazal A. Sheikh, Traders Chamber president Aslam Kain, clearing agents and others attended the ceremony, says a press release.

Multan Dryport Trust chairman Syed Qasim Shah highlighted the importance of the project and urged the exporters and importers to use the facility, at present functioning on the Multan-Bahawalpur road in the city suburbs.-APP
