DADU, Feb 4: Three of seven policemen booked in the murder case of Khadim Janwari were arrested on Wednesday.

Saeed Janwari, resident of Ghulam Janwari village, had registered an FIR under section 302/324, QDO, and 148/149, PPC, with the Thariri Mohabat police, stating his nephew Khadim, 25, was killed by the policemen in a fake encounter.

He said he and his nephew were watering wheat crop near Fazal Agro village, Mehar taluka, some four days back when seven police officials called Khadim and shot him dead.

Police constables Aziz Pirzado, Mithal Gopang, Shamsuddin, Shahnawaz, Latif Agro and two unidentified police officials were nominated in the FIR. Those arrested were identified as Mithal Gopang, Shamsuddin and Shahnawaz.
