SHIKARPUR, Jan 10: A woman, Maliha, 18, wife of Ghulam Nabi Jafri, was killed by her brother-in-law in Jafri village some five kilometres from here on Thursday night. The woman was asleep in her house with her new born child , when her brother-in-law with the help of his friends shot her dead.
The motive behind the incident was said to be Karo-kari affair.
Mohammad Khan Jafri lodged an FIR with the Amrote police against Malhoo Lohar, Akbar and two others.
SNATCHED: Two armed men snatched a car (ABM-424) from businessman Sarwand Kumar on the Rustam-Chak link road on Friday when he was on his way from Karampur to Sukkur.
The Rustam police have registered a case.
In another incident, a passenger pickup was snatched from Ghulam Hussain Brohi near Shahmir Junejo village on Thursday night.
The Amrote police have registered a case.
