Mamoon, Khalida arrive

ISLAMABAD, Jan 3: Bangladesh's Prime Minister Khalida Zia arrived here on Saturday evening to attend the 12th Saarc Summit. A red carpet was rolled out for the Bangladeshi premier and Prime Minister Mir Zafarullah Khan Jamali was present at the airport to receive her.

National anthems of the two countries were played followed by a salute from a contingent of the armed forces.

Maldives President Mamoon Abdul Gayoom had also reached the federal capital to participate in the Saarc moot. He was received by Mr Jamali at the airport on Saturday.-APP
