ISLAMABAD, April 25: The Islamabad airport will remain closed for three hours for three months for repair work. The airport will remain closed between 1pm to 4pm on every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday from April 25 to July 25. According to a statement issued by the Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) here on Monday, the national carrier has also modified its flight schedule in view of the airport closure.

PIA flight PK-390/391 for Karachi, Sukkur, Lahore, Islamabad and back on Mondays and Saturdays will depart Karachi at 2:40pm with a delay of one and a half hours to reach Islamabad at 4pm.

PK-385/386 Islamabad-Lahore-Multan and return on Wednesdays will operate with a delay of one and a half hours departing from Islamabad at 10am.

PK-387/388 Islamabad-Lahore-Multan and return on Wednesdays will operate with a delay of one and a half hours departing from Islamabad at 4:40pm.

PK-319 Islamabad-Karachi on Wednesdays will operate with a delay of one hour departing from Islamabad at 11:30pm.

PK-369 Islamabad-Karachi on Mondays and Saturdays will operate with a delay of one hour leaving Islamabad at 4pm.

PK-249 Islamabad-Kabul on Mondays and PK-251 on Saturdays will operate 40 minutes earlier and depart from Islamabad at 12:50pm.

Passengers have been advised to follow these timings for their convenience and obtain information from the PIA booking office or the district sales agents.
